Get paid for the
treasure hunts you build
Publish your treasure hunts to community treasure hunts, set your own price, and get paid directly through Stripe every time someone buys one.
Simple revenue split on every paid sale: you keep 70%, TreasureQuesting takes a 30% platform fee that covers payment processing, hosting, and running the marketplace. Every sale is itemised in your stats so the numbers always reconcile.

From idea to first payout in 5 steps
- 1
Build a treasure hunt worth paying for
Craft your treasure hunt in the visual editor - add a polished story, clear quests, a great cover image, and playtest it end-to-end. Paid hunts should feel like a finished product.
- 2
Submit to community treasure hunts
From the editor, request a listing in community treasure hunts. Our team reviews each submission for quality and clarity. If we send it back with feedback, update and resubmit - there is no limit on retries.
- 3
Set your price
Once approved, pick a price from the marketplace tiers. Free hunts stay free; paid hunts are sold through the marketplace and unlocked for the buyer forever.
- 4
Connect Stripe payouts
To receive money, you connect a Stripe account in the Payouts page. Stripe handles identity verification, taxes, and payouts. This is a one-time setup.
- 5
Earn and get paid automatically
When someone buys your treasure hunt, your earnings appear in the Creator dashboard. Stripe pays out to your bank on their normal schedule - no manual withdrawals needed.
What makes a treasure hunt sell
Tell a real story
A strong narrative with characters, a twist, and a satisfying ending turns a list of clues into an experience people remember.
Nail the cover image
Your cover is what sells the hunt in community treasure hunts. Use a striking, on-theme image with readable text and no clutter.
Mix puzzle styles
Combine riddles, multi-choice, maps, and mini-games so the pacing stays interesting from start to finish.
Right-size the length
Be clear about expected playtime up front. A tight 30-60 minute hunt that ends strong is better than a padded one.
Questions creators usually have
Pricing & fees
You keep 70% of every paid sale. TreasureQuesting takes a 30% platform fee to cover payment processing, hosting, and running the marketplace. Every sale is itemised in your stats so you always see fees, refunds, and net earnings separately.
No. You can keep hunts free, share them privately with friends, or publish them to community treasure hunts at no cost. Monetising is opt-in, per treasure hunt.
Refunds follow our refund policy. When a refund is issued, it's deducted from your earnings for that sale and shown clearly in your stats, so the numbers always reconcile.
Catalog & review
Most submissions are reviewed within a few days. If we reject a submission, the reviewer's note appears on the treasure hunt card in your Creator dashboard and inside the editor so you can fix it and try again.
Payouts work wherever Stripe Connect is available. When you connect your account, Stripe shows exactly which countries and currencies are supported for your setup.
Payouts
Stripe pays out on a rolling schedule (typically weekly) once your account is fully verified. You can check balance, status, and upcoming payouts in the Stripe dashboard linked from the Payouts page.
